Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. EventCatch uses only one cookie, so there is no cookie consent pop-up.
Our cookie
lang: remembers the last language you read the site in, so it opens in that language next time. Kept for one year. It does not identify you and is not used for analytics or advertising.
Files stored on your device
So that you can install the site on your phone, your browser keeps a copy of the site’s style files and icon. They contain no information about you.
ec-follow: if you follow artists, your browser keeps the list of artists and the shows you have already seen in its local storage, so we can flag new shows. It is not a cookie and it is not sent to us. It is needed for the service you asked for, so no separate consent is required. It stays until you unfollow or clear the site’s data in your browser.
What we do not use
No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no social media cookies. If we ever add any, we will ask for your consent first.
Ticket sellers’ websites, which you reach by tapping a link, set their own cookies under their own policies.
When you tap an affiliate link, the affiliate network (such as Awin or Impact) and the seller may set their own tracking cookies, on their own websites and under their own policies, to credit the purchase to us. Our own site does not set any such cookies.
How to delete it
You can delete the cookie and your follow list at any time in your browser settings (clear site data). After deleting the cookie, the site will again open in the language that fits your country and browser language. Your follow list will be gone for good, because we have no copy of it.
